How to Vote in the 2026 Meaford Election
The October 26th municipal election is coming. This year Meaford is using internet and telephone voting, there will be no paper ballots. The voting window runs from 10 AM on Friday October 16 all the way until 8 PM on Monday October 26, giving you a full ten days to vote from home or anywhere you have internet or phone access, 24 hours a day. If you want to learn how the online and telephone voting process works before voting opens, free information sessions are being held at the Bognor Community Centre on September 16th at 12 to 1 PM and again from 6 to 7 PM, and at the Meaford Public Library on September 17th at the same two time slots. No registration required, just show up.
If you need help once voting is underway, Voting Help Centres will be available at the Meaford Public Library at 11 Sykes Street North and at the Sydenham Centre at 458372 Grey Road 11, with multiple dates and times throughout the voting period. Every ballot shapes the future of this community so please make sure you are registered, mark your calendar and take part. Voting matters. And I would be deeply honoured to have your vote for Mayor of Meaford.
